It is also great to pick up tips that other people have left at the locations they have been to, this is very useful considering if your new to an area and would like some feedback from other foursquare users.
It is also a great way to find your friend's, just log onto the application on your phone and see what bars your friends are hanging out at. You can see your friends check-ins on Foursquare to track down the best place to head to. Imagine not telling your friends what bar you guys have moved onto but rather they''ll be able to see from your check-ins and track you down without all those missed calls and text messages.
So get out there, check-in and let your friends know what you're doing, if you wanted too of course. Dont be afraid to leave tips for other people about your experiences at certain places, it doesnt always have to be negative information, for example dont be afraid to let people know whats the best thing on the menu!
