Ego... Your Important

If your constantly looking at how many followers you have on Twitter or how many visitors you've had to your website then Ego is definitely the app for you. Ego lets you see an overview of your stats from Twitter, Google Analytics and more. To get started on Ego, you will need to add some of your accounts. You have multiple accounts from the same network, you can see stats for; Twitter, Ember, Feedburner, Google Analytics, Mint, SquareSpace and Vimeo.
The main screen of Ego shows a widget for each of your added accounts, which is coloured depending on the type of account. The three ‘social’ types accounts you can add are Twitter, Vimeo and Ember. Ego is a great app for giving you an overview of your stats in the order you choose. Also, the interface for Ego is beautiful and really shows how apps should be made. Ego, for the most part, is aimed at webmasters, who are notoriously obsessed with stats, but even if you only use one or more of the services on offer (who isn’t on Twitter these days?), Ego is definitely an app worth buying.

FourSquare - Check In!

Why use it?
Well because it's a game and appealing to us for that reason.
It is also great to pick up tips that other people have left at the locations they have been to, this is very useful considering if your new to an area and would like some feedback from other foursquare users.
It is also a great way to find your friend's, just log onto the application on your phone and see what bars your friends are hanging out at. You can see your friends check-ins on Foursquare to track down the best place to head to. Imagine not telling your friends what bar you guys have moved onto but rather they''ll be able to see from your check-ins and track you down without all those missed calls and text messages.
So get out there, check-in and let your friends know what you're doing, if you wanted too of course. Dont be afraid to leave tips for other people about your experiences at certain places, it doesnt always have to be negative information, for example dont be afraid to let people know whats the best thing on the menu! Try it out for yourself and see what's out there and who's out there.
